Hope Shop sells re-loved and pre-loved furniture and household goods at affordable prices. All of the profits from the shop are put back into helping the local community by supporting those who find themselves unemployed back into work, by developing their skills and improving their confidence.

Supporting Hope Shop

As well as supporting our work by shopping with us, you can also support the work of HOPE Social Enterprises by donating furniture or household items that you no longer want or need.  Your donations can be sold in Hope Shop, helping to give people valuable work experience opportunities and saving items going to landfill. Some items will be up-cycled by a team of creative volunteers,  which will then be sold as part of the ‘re-loved’ by Hope range. Your donations can help turn a house into a home for many families.

Free furniture collection service

Book a free collection to donate your furniture and electrical items by calling 01480 428355.  The team collect many items, including sofas, armchairs, tables, chairs, desks, cabinets, beds and bedroom furniture. They also collect electrical items, including TVs and kitchen appliances.  Please make sure that all your items are in good condition, complete and are in working order.  Items covered in fabric, such as a sofas must have the 1988 safety regulations label attached.  If any items are not in a re-sellable condition the team can still collect your items for a small competitive fee. Volunteer at Hope Shop

We are always looking for volunteers who want to give something back.  If you have a few hours a week to spare  and are looking for a unique volunteer opportunity please get in touch. We have a friendly team of volunteers and staff at Hope Social Enterprises, who do everything from working in the warehouse to up-cycling furniture for the shop, we can offer roles to make use of your skills, which supports individuals with their confidence and journey back into work or help you to acquire new ones through our work placement opportunities.

Disposal Service

We offer a disposal service for items that are not in a condition to be sold. The team will collect the items from your home by appointment. Please note that we are not able to collect for disposal items considered to be hazardous waste, for example TVs, fridges, freezers, microwaves and printers. If you are unsure if an item is hazardous please call us for further advice.

Prices are competitive, and  start from £10 per item, additional items will be charged at £5 each.
