One Pot Wonders Course Has Begun
On Thursday we saw the first group of people join us for One Pot Wonders. Our cookery tutor commented "They were a fabulous group". They cooked a delicious chilli with black beans and egg, and of course it was all done in...one pot!
The One Pot Wonders course is free to those 65+ and who are living in Fenland, however if you do not fit in this category you can still come along (there will just be a fee involved). It lasts for five weeks where you get to cook a different recipe each week in the company of others and then you can either eat it together, or take it home.
At the end of the course, each participant will receive a free booklet containing 14 One Pot recipes which will include what you have cooked during the course as well as others for you to try. Each recipe has been carefully constructed to provide a healthy, nutritious, low cost, easy to cook meal.
After the current course is over in five weeks time, it restarts every 5 weeks and will run for the next year. So if you are over 65, live in Fenland and want to come and cook with us just email alison.crouch@ferryproject.org.uk.
It is FREE and takes place at the Ferry Project Cookery School on South Brink in Wisbech. Sometimes we move to a Friday and one course is at the Fact Community Kitchen in March. Get signed up!
