Make Your New Year Resolution Matter!
Happy New Year.
As we begin 2025, many will be making resolutions to help them enter the new year with purpose and focus. However, many resolutions are just good intentions and never amount to anything lasting or substantial, based in part to the fact that many of the resolutions set are unachievable or the work required to achieve them is too great.
Ambition and vision are values that Ferry Project embody and live-out every single day. Tackling the problem of rural homelessness is big and complicated, and yes, it can get messy. But for every single person we help to get back on their feet and have a fresh start at life, it is worth it. However, we can’t do it alone.
So if you will allow us, we would like to suggest a New Year’s resolution that you can keep, because it can flex with your schedule and lifestyle. Quite simply, would you consider subscribing to our mailing list, and resolve to partner with us, in whichever way you can in ways that are achievable for you? You don’t need to respond to everything – but resolve to put one thing into action to help those who are experiencing homelessness in this coming year.
It could be by making a one-off donation, or better yet, setting up a monthly donation to support our work. Or you could decide to attend one fundraising event we hold in 2025, or indeed becoming a fundraiser by doing something like hosting a coffee morning, or running 5km and asking friends and family to sponsor you. You could decide to attend one of our cookery school courses and not only will you have a great time and learn how to cook amazing food, you will also be supporting us financially as any profits are put back into the work we do, supporting those experiencing homelessness and helping them move towards independent living with love and support one step at a time – all day, every day, throughout the year.
We hope that you have a wonderful 2025, and if supporting our work in whatever way you can becomes part of it, we look forward to working with you.
Thank you.
